Rodrigo Alves

Born and raised in the Portuguese region of Beira Baixa, Rodrigo has been intimately connected with the culinary world since his childhood.

 

Rodrigo's family culinary history has influences from both branches of the family. On his father's side of him the family is linked to traditional bakery and on his mother's side linked to a slightly more delicate cuisine based on the use of aromatic herbs and natural products.

 

Despite the fact that his culinary journey started later than some, he has embraced the kitchen as his true calling. Today, Rodrigo finds cooking a safe place where he can express his creativity. He aims to use the best produce and spin tradition in a modern way to create innovative dishes that honor his roots.
